Biography

Fred Baerenz has deep roots in Virginia. He graduated from The College of William and Mary with an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts in government, history, and economics.

Following graduation, Fred began working as the Vice President for both Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and First American Title Company. At both companies, Fred prepared and reviewed title examinations, served as a Branch Manager, Risk Officer, and underwrote title insurance policies.

In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, Fred continued to invest his time into his home state as an escrow officer on some of the most iconic and important real estate projects in Northern Virginia, including projects for the Metropolitan Airport Authority and the Resolution Trust Corporation.

Currently, Fred Baerenz is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of AOG Wealth Management. He founded AOG Wealth Management in 2000 as an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm. Read more about Fred’s work at AOG Wealth Management here. Now, when Fred is not hard at work at AOG Wealth Management, he spends his time running and biking. He particularly enjoys participating in local marathons and triathlons. Fred and his wife, Sheila, live in the Reston Town Center, and their son, Joe, is a lawyer in New York City.
